This curated spread of deep reds and browns match the Root (Muladhara) vibration. It features fruits, cured meats, cheese and crackers all colored with the energy of the Root Chakra. Try this as a snack when you want a foundational assortment on a Tuesday afternoon.
THE CURATION (INGREDIENTS)
1-2 Servings
10 Red grapes
4 Strawberries
4 Pieces of watermelon
5 Crackers (I used the Fire Roasted Tomato and Olive Oil Triscuits)
3 Deli-sliced pepperonis
1-2 Pieces of prosciutto
1-2 Pieces of beef jerky
1 Babybel cheese
1 Roma tomato
Salt
Fresh Ground Pepper
THE PROCESS (INSTRUCTIONS)
- Slide one piece of watermelon on a skewer leaving a little bit of room at the very end to hold on to.
- Slide two grapes on the skewer next and then one strawberry.
- Slide one grape on, a strawberry, two grapes and then one piece of watermelon on the other end of the skewer. It should have a pattern complete with two pieces of watermelon, two strawberries and 5 grapes.
- Repeat steps 1-3 on another skewer and set aside.
- Slice tomato and sprinkle with salt and fresh ground pepper.
- Arrange the board with all the ingredients keeping the dry ingredients separate from the wet ingredients.

TIPS AND NOTES
- Add some assorted nuts or beet hummus with red bell pepper.
